Sony India launches Android smartphone Xperia Z Ultra
Sony India on Tuesday launched its latest premium large-screen Android smartphone - Sony Xperia Z Ultra - India, priced at Rs 46,990 and will be released on August 2
Online retailers are taking pre-orders for the device at Rs 44,990. Sony has partnered with Vodafone India to offer 8 GB of data download for free for a period of two months with this device.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra phablet has a display pixel density 344ppi and 1920x1080p resolution. Under the hood runs the quad-core Snapdragon CPU 800, the last and powerful Qualcomm processor, clocked at 2.2GHz, backed by 2GB of RAM. This device has the same design language as Z Xperia smartphone and key functions on the screen and the scratch-resistant glass and unbreakable.
Powered by a 3050 mAh battery, the Xperia Z Ultra packs 16GB of internal storage and supports microSD card expansion up to 64GB. Connectivity suites latest gadget from Sony consists of 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and microUSB 2.0. On the back is a 8MP camera, whereas a 2MP unit is placed at the front.
This is the largest full HD phone in the world and is resistant to water and dust.
Sony Chief Marketing India stated that the Xperia Z Ultra comes preinstalled on Sony TV and Sony Music Apps with Bigflix free subscription for a month. The company also launched accessories like Bluetooth stereo headset and a magnetic loading dock.
The smartphone is available in three colors - black, white and purple.
